Snappy snappy sleepyness! November 19, 2006

Urgh, my back hurts like hell, and I’m damn tired. Why you ask? Owh, I’ll tell you why!!! By the way, I’m cranky.

Friday…
Urgh, time for business. Let’s wake up early despite having the flu!! I was at Miz’s room anyway. Had to accompany her. She’s scared of sleeping alone.  Anyway, the day I decided to go early for Business Studies is the day it got cancelled. WTF? Anyway, Miz and I had an early breakfast at the USM cafe (long story on why it’s called that. Long story short, UTP used to be USM, use your brains to figure out the rest). Whoa, it’s been like, forever since I had breakfast at eight. Anyway, we had aeons of time before maths tutorial. Which was at 10:30 a.m.. So, after eating damn slowly *and watching Avatar*, me and Miz managed to waste so much time that it was time for tutorial. And for once yet again, we were early. It was a boring tutorial. It was only about matrices. Sigh.. at least I got some practice. Owh, and along this while, I was constantly seen sniffing into a piece of tissue.

Later that day, I had a brilliant idea *NOT*! I KNOW I should be sleeping, but what is the importance of health compared to… DOING LAUNDRY! YES YES! Let’s wash like 20 pieces of random clothing articles!!! So I scrubbed for about 2 and a half hours. Owh… my back.. Soon after that, I went for Islamic Studies.

Running late to class due to Miz’s supreme love to her pillow, we met Yana who was also late due to the same reason. But, hey, we weren’t the last ones there. The lecture itself was of course, entertaining per se. After the lecture, me and Miz ate at V4 if I’m not mistaken.. haa haaa

The rest of the day involved computers and a happy stalker.

Saturday
Woke up at noon…. sigh…. Cleaned up my room a bit, and got ready for lunch… Most of my fav food was there… Needless to say, I took em’ all! Muahaha. Around this moment, I observed that Nirash is a Blooywood addict. Then, Miz and I proceeded to go to Sports Science. The early streak must’ve still been in overdirive because Miz and I were the first students in…

The lecture was very.. ‘interesting’. I listened so much! I listened so.. intensely, I was able to draw THIS fanart. Haha. Owh, I also got back my marks for my dreaded Sports Science paper… GUESS WHAT!!! I GOT 17/20!!! WHOOOTTTTTT!!!

Went straight up to my room to do some photoshopping…. And I called Saq up… She’s okie. Chatted with her till my phone battery went boom. Suddenly, Miz came and brought me out to D-Toronto at around 9p.m.!! Yay! I finally ate the burger I was craving for! Yummy! And I drank my Milo!!! Fufufufu I slept with a full stomach…

Currently
My back hurts like hell… Woke up at 10a.m…. Went to my room, and did some cg-ing… After that, I decided to have my bath… and wash my clothes….

I picked today of all days to wash my jeans… Argh.. my shoulder blades!!!!
That’s it. I wonder what everyone of my friends are doing right now…. WHatever, time to SLEEP goddamit!!!

MATSUMOTO JUN!!!!

thanks DC++ and internal campus network for introducing me to the awesomeness which is Mastumoto Jun! He’s one part of the band Arashi, and also a very talented actor.

He first acted in a J-drama called bokura no yuuki in 1997. But what rose him to fame was his role in Gokusen, where he played Sawada Shin!!!!!!!!!!

HE IS SOOOOOOO CUUUUUTE!!! Now I am officially gonna obsess over him! Like, MEGA-OBSESS!!! KYAAA

How I usually CG… aka CG-ing, the Sawee Way November 16, 2006

Sawee is writing a tutorial for Miratsuki of DeviantArt, who is also Ashwey’s co-blogger….

Now here is what I do, if a drawing needs to be cg-ed in multiple programs…

- Scan pic, open in photoshop, go to Image, then Adjustment then Levels, and adjust the image till it is nice and clear. Make a duplicate layer of the scanned image. Save as a .psd filetype and close Photoshop

- Open Painter Essentials. Now start colouring. Handy tip while using a tablet. If it is a Wacom, turning the stylus upside down will change it to eraser mode. Neat huh?

- Extra help for painter essentials = you’ll notice that if you colour using the digital watercolour brush, or any  other brush for the matter, it looks horrible on new layers, and only looks great on the original layer right? That’s why I asked you to make a duplicate layer in Photoshop. Painter Essentials doesnt allow the replicating of original layers. ^^.. General rule of thumb, One layer, One colour, so, make tons of duplicate layers. Its ok if the colours doesnt seem to blend and stays only on one layer. We’ll deal with that later.

 - After colouring and what not in Painter Essentials, save the file as .psd, and close the application.

 - Open Photoshop and open the file just now. SOmetimes, it’ll say that it doesn’t support some features. That’s ok.

- Now, aside from the original scanned image layer, set ALL the OTHER layers blend mode to MULTIPLY… See? now the colours have BLENDED… MUAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! Owh, remember to adjust the opacity.

- Owh no, the lineart looks too thick! Now go back to every single bloody layer, and yes, erase the lineart, keeping the colours intact.. Time consuming I know…. Keep only the ORIGINAL lineart (aka the scanned image).

 - Do additional shading and such. Play around with the filters… I personally LOVE the Diffuse glow filter.

- Merge all the layers once finished. Play around with MORE filters. Alternatively, go to Image then Adjustments, and play with EVERYTHING there ^^

- You’re DONE! Just remember to resize the image ^^

okie.. that’s how I usually do it. Heck, I sometimes use a third or fourth application along with this…. It may not be the best way, but it’s MY way.. MUAHAHAH!!

Ahhhh beautifully relaxing….

I woke up late today. My roomate as usual, commenting bout my tardiness in waking up.

Suddenly, the side of my bed vibrated…. No no you pervs, it’s not what you think! I picked my my phone, and stared at it. Owh, it’s Myzoo…. What does she want?

Huh? SPORTS SCIENCE DISCUSSION?! I rushed out of my room, armed with my toiletries, and bathed in record time.

Blurly heading towards the cafe, I noted a lone Kimah, as we waited for Adib, the group leader. He arrived a few mins later, and soon, Myzoo managed to join us all. Haahaa believe it or not, we only had minor stuff to do. Like page dividers and stuff.. WHEEE!!!!!

Myzoo and I excused ourselves after the meeting and we went for lunch. Haa haa I had Tomato Rice and Chili Chicken along with some  pickled cucumbers. Yummy! Myzoo had the same thing. After lunch, I went to her room to grab my chocolates, and proceeded to my own room, where I played with Photoshop for one whole day! WHEE~!!

And now, I’m stuck writing this blog.

Haa haa gotten used to my new style of making titles? I’m gonna post up songs titles as the post subject now ^^

Just woke up ^^ What better way to spend a Saturday than by replacing all the sleep that you have lost?

I had a very.. interesting week as I might put it.  Not only did I update my sad sad blog in bulk, I actually complete one of my assignment early ^^. Ah, what fun.

Yesterday, something weird happened. I wanted to skip maths because I was tired… Then, Aini smsed me and Myzoo and told us to come to class, else 10 marks will be deducted. Myzoo, who hadn’t bathed, rushed to the toilet, while I calmly put on my headscarf. Then we sped walked to the lecture hall, along with some others…. gah…. reached in 30  mins late but… we weren’t the last to some in at all… After that, I went for tutorial, being as blur as ever.

Had lunch because I was dead hungry. Then, Myzoo and I wnet to V1 to pick up our dirty clothes.  We’re so lazy…. We then walked up to our rooms.

Online, I saw a certain psycho. He had a very… stressful and frustrating week. Hope he can overcome his probs very soon. Go go go!

Then went for Islamic Studies. At the end of the lecture, he showed is about the process of converting a Djinn into Islam. It was scary seeing the Djinn possessing a human. I was really frightened. The lecture finished late, and I had to go to the surau to pray, before finally making my way to tutorial albeit 40 mins late. Ngeh got my average for English…. 33… argh! After tuto, I gave Saq a call. I won’t elab here… Mweeee… Ate dinner with Myzoo and Ika… Had soup + garlic bread + fries…. aih…..

At night, nothing much happened sans me sleeping early…

Today, I woke up late, after being pestered by my roomie ^^; …. Had a pretty long shower.. and now me is hungry…

Rundown of my life back in uni. NOT in chronological order.

• Assignments.. sigh
• New stalkee
•  Went to UTP StarSearch. Needless to say, certain factions of the uni opposed to the idea of having concerts and such. And I care why?
• Went swimming in the uni’s swimming pool. It was okay
• Broke my toenail
• Wore 2 inch heels! To lectures!
• Went to Ipoh with Myzoo. Had a BLAST there. Went shoe shopping. Myzoo bought 3 pairs of shoes. I only bought one. I bought a t-shirt, halfjacket and two spaghettis though. But the main highlight was eating at Sushi King! Wah… RM70 down the drain… Thank God for Petronas scholar
• Finally received the CD Li Shan burned for me
• Actually UPDATED my deviantart.
• Found out the wonders of DC++. Got so many anime I actually ran out of disk space…had to burn…

That’s it. Apparently I ‘m too lazy to blog.

An uneventful Eid November 8, 2006

Yeah. Eid reminded me of how thankful I should be to God. I’m thankful Tok Ayah is still alive and well. And I’m thankful he’s still here.

Eid was a rather sombre occasion. The reason I didn’t blog about this earlier is because I didn’t want to be a wet blanket. I mean, everyone had such a happy Eid.

Mak Long, her husband and thier two kids came over for Eid. They stayed at my house for 2 days.

For the first time ever, I woke up late on Eid. I felt really out of it. Not only was I at home, I was celebrating it with just a few of my family members. I miss waking up to jokes and laughs. What saddens me the most is that my grandma *Kelantanes side, aka Mak Tok* didn’t even come. I mean, I’m supposed to celebrate Eid with her and Tok Ayah. The way things are, it appears that she is happy without him around.

A few visitors came to the house, and I really didn’t care. Then we went to the home.

Saw Tok Ayah. Really sad to see him. He can barely speak now. He mumbles at times, and talks incoherently.  He doesn’t really remember anyone. Mak Long fed him some cakes, glutinous rice  and stuff and it was really sad to see him that way. Then , dad and Mak Long talked to him. He said he was happy there. Then we left.

Ah, after that I felt slightly happier. Why? I went to my darling Nyaa’s house! I just hung around with her. Owh, and Roll bought me nubs for my PSP. Happy… yeah, Nyaa has really been my pillar of strength. Oh yeah, forgot to mention. Remember I said I had two cousins staying over? Well, I wasn’t that close to them Hell they shut me off. SO who was I to care?

Dad complained that I was alienating myself from them. Really now, both of them kept to themselves so much, why the fish should I care?

When they left, I was secretly happy.

Then, one of my relatives passed away on the 2nd day of Eid. SO, I went back to Bentong. Stayed for the prayers and yassin recital. Slept over at great grandma’s because grandma *not MakTok* was there. Needless to stay, I stuck to her like glue. Owh, parents went back right after, therfore I stayed  the night at Great Grandma’s.

The next day, I went back to Grandma’s house. Then I went back to my own. Mama and Papa had a fight. The next day, I slept at Grandma’s. Nyaa was there, so I spent time with her. I wuv Nyaa. I wish she were my sister. Parents didn’t like it. Well, since they never tell me anything, despite me being their ONLY GODDAMN CHILD,  why should I bother? Needless to say, I got scolded like shit.

They patched up when they sent me back.

Seriously though, THEY NEED TO GROW THE **** UP!

Overdue entry I know. But I had to get this off my chest…… Gah.

Friends for life November 8, 2006

Old post…

Recently, on the 21st of October, I went out with my buddies! They were Li Shan, Balqis, Sha, Saq, Alisya, Jon, Pinn Eng, Sha’s bro and my cousin Nyaa! We went to OU (as usual) and.. needless to say, we rotted there from 2pm till 9 pm….

Arriving late as usual, Nyaa and I rushed up to meet Saq and Alisya, who were patiently waiting in front of Anime Tech. Strange. We all wore blue. Then we walked to the new wing, where we met Jon, Sha, her bro, and Pinn Eng at the pool place. After hijacking Sha, the blue people then went around looking at stuff. Li Shan then arrived, joining the pool people. After a few mins, the pool people joined the blue people. We then walked around yet again, and went looking for random clothing articles. I found this dress thingy I like, but it was over my budget. Owh, somewhere along the line, Jon gave some of us plushies! I got a Snoopy, and it is dangling from my cute small baggie…

Then, we met BAKIS!! Yay! I haven’t seen her in a while! She’s still as pwetty as ever. Then we all went on a mission to find Li Shan’s prom dress… which ended in failure. In the end, we went extreme window shopping. Around this time, I bought Jon his babi as a birthday gift. Somehow THIS reminds me of ashwey…. Hee hee. ALso , I bought Saq a cute hat for her birthday.. I hope she like it. Oh yeah, at the place I bought babi, I bought myself my RABBIT! Which I named Lelouch.
Then, we went to the arcade *PS, Bakis left somewhere during the extreme shopping moment*.. I didn’t play much, but I enjoyed torturing Jon to get me a stuffed animal… He tortured me by not getting my goldfish or kucing, but instead he got me a deformed LADYBUG… which I now call Yanagi. Somehow, Tasha managed to get her a kucing and a green girrafe Ainaa wanted. But Jon andMick’s efforts managed to get random Garfields, kucings and god know what, which were eventually distributed to Li Shan, Alisya and Nyaa.

BUKA PUASA TIME! Seeing that only Nyaa and I were fasting.. we sure had a hard time… We had to call our grandma just to figure out when to eat. We were at waffle world btw, and it was at this time Alisya left us T-T … Bla bla bla we ate, and then we went to meet my parents at the shoe shop… ARGH! 3 inch heels! Yeah, that was my kasut raya… also bought this purple 2 inch which I use at uni… Oh, Jon, Saq and Li Shan left around this time….

Then, SHa and I went to buy pants for meeee! Got myself a nice skirt and black pants ^^. Then I accompanied Sha to buy groceries and Takoyaki! Then Sha left T-T…..

Hung out at Coffee Bean with parents and Nyaa. On the way there, I SAW JALALUDDIN HASSAN!!! HOTNESS!!! Then Nyaa drank pure Chocolate while I drank pure Vanilla… it tasted disgusting,, Then we mixed it up and it became more digusting… It became this….

Haahaa That’s it. What an overdue entry….
